Click through to learn more about seven of the youngest Oscars nominees, like Jacob Tremblay, 9, and Anna Paquin!

How exciting would it be to attend the Oscars when you were just a little tyke? Quvenzhané Wallis holds the distinction of being the youngest person to ever be nominated for an Oscar, in any category! Quvenzhané was just nine-years-old when she was nominated for Best Actress in 2013 for her role as HushPuppy in Beasts of the Southern Wild. She was also the first person born in the 21st century to be nominated!

Abigail Breslin holds the spot for second-youngest nominee, just 10 years-old when she was nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in 2007 for playing Olive Hoover in Little Miss Sunshine. Tatum O’Neal was 10, too, when she became the youngest person to ever win an Oscar, for her supporting role in Paper Moon back in 1974!

Not that this is a competition, but and Haley Joel Osment tie for third! Both just 11 when they were nominated, they gave stunning performances that people just couldn’t imagine came from such little ones. Haley was nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in 2000 for his spooky role in The Sixth Sense. He sees dead people, remember? But Anna’s visit to the Oscars was something special. She became the second-youngest person to win an Oscar in 1994, 20 years after Tatum! She took home the Best Actress in a Supporting Role trophy for her heartbreaking turn in The Piano.

Saoirse Ronan and were technically teens when they nabbed their nominations, but it doesn’t make it less impressive! Saoirse, who’s a nominee at the 2016 Oscars, was just 13 when she was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in 2008 for Atonement. Hailee proved she had true chops with her supporting role in True Grit, getting her an Oscar nomination in 2011!

Jacob technically wasn’t nominated for an Oscar himself, but he’s too adorable not to include! Jacob is going to the Oscars — he’s having a blast during awards season — because his amazing movie Room has been nominated for Best Picture.
