For those fans who like to spend even more time watching their favorite Hollywood stars roll in and show off their eveningwear, red carpet coverage before the event, starting at 6 p.m. Eastern. Comedian Ricky Gervais will host the event, scheduled to last three hours, wrapping up at 11 p.m. Eastern.

The Golden Globes are known for being more laid-back than their stiffer cousin, the Oscars, so Sunday night may have some in store. At the very least, there will be some jabs from host Gervais and some hints at which films and actors may win big as awards season continues.
