It is a widely accepted truth that Meryl Streep is the greatest living actress of our time. She’s been nominated for so many awards, there’s a Wikipedia page dedicated to listing them. When it comes to the Academy Awards specifically, Streep is the most nominated actress ever, with nineteen nods (the late Katharine Hepburn comes in second with twelve), and this Sunday she’s up for yet another, for her role as the Witch in Into the Woods.
