Last night's Oscars had much to offer music fans: Dave Grohl paid tribute to both David Bowie and Alan Rickman by covering The Beatles, the Amy Winehouse film picked up Best Documentary and legendary composer Ennio Morricone took home another Best Original Score gong, this time for Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight.
Throughout the night, there were live performances from several of the Best Original Song nominees, namely The Weeknd, Lady Gaga and eventual winner Sam Smith. Smith performed his Bond theme 'Writing's On The Wall', while The Weeknd performed 'Earned It' and Lady Gaga ran through 'Til It Happens To You'. Watch all of those performances beneath.
Anohni, the musician formerly known as Antony Hegarty, was also nominated for this year's Best Original Song prize, but revealed last week that she would be not be attending the ceremony after the Academy failed to ask her to perform her nominated song on the night - which is a really awkward way of the Oscars saying that you're not gonna win.
