Although not every actor was lucky enough to receive an Oscar nomination, many bold-faced names will still be attending the 2016 Academy Awards on Sunday, February 28, at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
Among the celebrities scheduled to appear at the annual star-studded event are J.J. Abrams, Sacha Baron Cohen, Henry Cavill and previous winners John Legend and Morgan Freeman, who are slated to present at the show, while the Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl will perform.

In total, 47 stars are set to light up the stage during the Chris Rock–hosted event.

Jordan, Lady Gaga, Byung-hun Lee, Jennifer Garner, Whoopi Goldberg, Jared Leto, Rachel McAdams, Olivia Munn, Dev Patel, Daisy Ridley, Margot Robbie, Jason Segel, Andy Serkis, Sarah Silverman, Sam Smith, Charlize Theron, Jacob Tremblay, Sofía Vergara, Kerry Washington, The Weeknd, Pharrell Williams and Reese Witherspoon.

Simmons, Eddie Redmayne, Patricia Arquette and Julianne Moore, last year’s victors in the four acting categories, who will hand over the golden statuettes to the 2016 winners.
Lady Gaga will be making her Oscars return to sing her Best Original Song–nominated hit “Til It Happens to You" from the film The Hunting Ground, after performing a jaw-dropping tribute to The Sound of Music at last year's ceremony.
