Nominations for Awards

Review the award evaluation criteria and categories and determine whether the product or service you wish to nominate would be an appropriate recipient of an Edison Award.

Nominations for the 2016 Edison Awards are now closed. Nominations for the 2017 Edison awards will open in the fall of 2016.

Once registered, nominees will be asked to provide information about the product or service being nominated, including the company and/or product website address, a photo of the entry, videos, and social media links. A number of questions about how the entry satisfies the four criteria will help our judging body evaluate the nomination. Please note that there is a nomination fee which must be paid before the nomination will be considered eligible for judging.

Judging

All completed nominations will be reviewed by the members of the Edison Awards Steering Committee as well as an ad hoc panel of professionals, all of whom are senior executives with diverse marketing, scientific and business backgrounds who are recognized experts in their fields. Upon conclusion of this primary review process, a ballot of Finalists is prepared.

Our Panel of Judges, which is comprised of more than 3, 000 senior business executives and academics, then review the ballot of Finalists and choose the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners, acknowledging the Finalists' excellence in meeting the award criteria of Concept, Value, Delivery and Impact. The Panel includes hundreds of past Edison Award winners as well as marketing professionals, scientists, engineers and academics.

The distinctive nominations review process serves as an unbiased 3rd-party endorsement for the innovations advancing to Finalists status. The endorsement delivers an affirmation of superior quality — a confirmation that can reach customers in a way that marketing and advertising cannot. Non-finalists and can request feedback on how to make their marketing message or innovation stronger. Winners will be announced during the April 2016 Award Ceremony and Gala Dinner.
