87th Academy Awards Nominations Announced - Full List for 2014

The complete list of nominees for the 87th Academy Awards, the most prestigious award in Hollywood, have been announced today (via oscar.go.com). The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences revealed the nominees this morning live via online/television broadcast. The selection seemed to be quite diverse, with some snubs, but lots of acclaim as well focusing on the excellent films from 2014. There's no need to spend any more time introducing this, so let's get right down to it! This year, The Academy selected a total of eight Best Picture nominee films, including: Birdman, Boyhood, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Selma (!), Whiplash and American Sniper. The 87th Academy Awards will take place on Sunday, February 22nd at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood with a live telecast airing on ABC starting at 7PM (EST) / 4PM (PST).
